Steve, you don't seriously believe that blacks alone elected Obama, do you? They are NOT the majority in this country although I understand you may not believe that being you live in a heavily black populated state. In addition, I heard a number of black news persons employed in the news media who backed McCain.
And if you've bought gas or groceries lately, you surely must have noticed the steep increase in prices. There's no doubt that the economy is an important issue to most Americans, along with some others. Only those people with more money than they could possibly spend in a lifetime may NOT be concerned with the economy but even THEY know that they are spending more of their great wealth just to feed themselves. Of course, it doesn't make them have to choose between gas, medicines, and food as it has for many of us.
